I’ve just visit your blog.

First of all congrats for taking ACTION and building your first blog, I thought you did a great job so far.

What’s great about Louie’s push button design is you also get access to all the video training and step by step instruction. So You’ll have video that will teach you FTP correctly.

When You will create a new header you will first need to save it on your computer and then upload it to your server. So you are uploading them from your computer to your server.

Very easy to do….

Let’s take your blog as a example….

So you have create a new header using the push button design creator tool.

You save your new header on your computer.

Next step is to overwrite the header image you already have on your blog.

I when to your blog and left click on your header images and I now I know that your header is locate here: ( your images are always in your content folder under your theme)

http://carboncopymagic.com/wp-content/themes/anand/img/header.jpg

So from this url you know exactly where your header is locate.

Your next step will be to rename the new Header you have just create and save on your computer. you rename it as header.jpg.

Now open your ftp program.

You have to overwrite your current header images.

So you will do something like….

double click (public_html)

double click (wp-content)

double click (themes)

double click (anand)

double click (img)

here you go, you are now in your theme images folder….

next just upload your new header graphic, this will overwrite your old header.

**** Please note that you should always save the original header.jpg before overwriting it….if something go wrong you just put back the original header ******

I have been looking at and reading your blog the past few weeks and just want to say I think you have one of the neatest blogs I have seen in my short time on the internet..

I have been trying to make my own blog recently and if you go to my website you will see what I mean when I say I am a very good example of “a work in progress” when it comes to making a blog / site ! lol !

I thought the video, “push button website” was something I would definitely be interested in …but wanted to ask you..-

I seem to have a hard time understanding how to use FTP correctly – for example , knowing where to send files from my computer in order to install them on my word press site how I want – at this point , getting a grasp on this is quite confusing to me.

So my question is, in your video , when you are making the new header(s) is the files for “push button website” already uploaded to your host server ? Or are you uploading right then from your computer ?

Also , the “live traffic feed” to my left is really cool ! How / where can I get that?

Basically , my short term goal is to make my blog with yours in mind !

And again, I have a long way to go but have made great progress too !

Any advise,input or help from you would be greatly appreciated !

Loved the video, could understand everything that your said and no it was not too long because it was so interesting that the time went very quickly (seemed like a 2 minute video).

I also loved the way you explained everything. It looks like a great site and for only $7.00 a month, it is amazing.

Being a newbie to creating websites etc. it is certainly something that I will seriously look at.
